Jeg kan taler flamsk, engelsk, lidt fransk også lidt tysk.
Jeg kommer fra Belgien.
Yupyup. We had our first class of Danish today!
It started off pretty simple, and we're all still getting used to addressing the teachers with their first names, but we had a blast learning simple things.
The class took approximately four hours, then we had a short lunch break, and we were off to our next class: Four hours of "Globalisation and Professional Change".
We were split into two groups, one would tackle Globalisation when the other looked at English as a global language, and after two hours we switched.
The first part was very interesting, it also had added value due to the guest speaker who was very emotionally vested in Iran's Green Movement, and was happy to give us a more detailed look at the situation in Iran.
The class is taught by Egon, who is also a professor at Copenhagen University.
Afterwards we talked about general globalisation for a bit.
Next up was English as a global language, and the professor, Lilian, has an amazing Irish accent. It was fairly interesting, although I'd read some articles on the subject prior to my exams in December, so it wasn't really new to me.
By the time class finished, it was 20.30, so it was pretty late already, but we headed out to a local pub (Mørkhøj Bodega) with Morten (a Danish student writing his thesis about globalisation) and Mikael (one of our Danish tutors) as well as Anne (a German Erasmus student).

We only stayed for a short while, but we'll definitely be back, drinks are cheap here!

On Friday, we'll have Danish until noon, then a meeting with the tutors, and then we're all invited to the student bar, where drinks are even cheaper! What a perfect way to start the weekend!
